It is possible to sail from most beaches along the Menai Straight, though sailing here can be very dangerous. Stronger winds can create good wave sailing conditions and the waves can be as high as 6ft! Because of the strong tides, visitors to any of these locations are advised to ask the locals about the sailing conditions.
Getting there: Most of the sailing locations in the Menai Straights are accessible from the A487 (on the East side) and the A4080 (on the NW side).
